A STORM IS BREWING
In a future where humanity has colonized the Solar System out to the Galilean Moons, a war for the moral heart of our species is brewing on the horizon. For 50 years, the Galilean Mining Company has operated largely unhindered, building an empire of slaves with which to extract the riches of Jupiter's moons. Too powerful, and with the System's largest water and oxygen reserves held hostage, the Federation of Inner Planets has been unable to do anything to stop them from doing as they like.
But with the Rebel movement growing every day, and the constituents at home getting restless over the idea of their fellow humans in bondage, the Federation is finally willing to talk about doing something, but what? Venus calls for sanctions and tariffs on water and air shipped back across The Belt. Hit them where it hurts, says Queen Erin. In their pocketbook. Mars calls for War, President Ezobele convinced there is no other way to free the slaves. Earth sits and twiddles its thumbs, unable to come to a unanimous decision, General Secretary Leng's hands tied up in bureaucratic tape.
And during all of this, the Rebels fight on. Led by a woman who was barely out of diapers when she incited the first successful slave revolt in GMC history, known only as Commander Gos, they strike the GMC at its heart, raiding for supplies, damaging cruisers, and sabotaging shipments. But they can't hold out forever, and without help from the Inner Planets, many fear that they won't last out the next cycle.
And what about you? What's your story, citizen? GMC? Federation? Rebels? Where do your loyalties lie? And how will you influence the war on the horizon?
